Introductory Dance at Ballet Lubbock

For students of all ages with under 4 yrs of dance experience

Designed to appeal to new dancers and their families, Introductory Dance at Ballet Lubbock is a fun and inviting introduction to movement, discipline, and artistry. Classes are offered by age and are carefully developed to match students’ physical and mental abilities. Family and friends are invited to watch class during scheduled observation weeks (usually the 4th week of the month). Explore the offerings below to see what class is right for you or your child.

FAMILY DANCE | AGES WALKING – 5 YEARS OLD

When children experience dance and music within a joyful community, it creates a foundation for budding artists and beautiful human beings. We’ll playfully explore movement and music through songs, rhymes, dances, and the imagination. The adults and older children serve as role models for the younger children who follow along in their own developmentally appropriate way. Ms. Kris believes that artistry, like language, is best taught through immersion in the early years.
