It’s never too early or too late to start dancing! When children experience dance and music within a joyful community it creates a foundation for budding artists and beautiful human beings. In this class, you’ll dance with your child in a fun mixed aged setting. Older children and adults serve as role models, while younger children follow in their own way. Ms. Kris believes that artistry, like language, is best taught through immersion in the early years. She hopes her classes give parents inspiration to continue dancing at home.
Ms. Kris has over 30 years of experience teaching music and movement in Texas, Minnesota, and New Jersey. She presents workshops and teacher training classes throughout the United States. Kris as two sons, ages 15 and 17, who danced with her when they were toddlers. She feels their strong musicality as a violinist, pianist, and bassist are directly related to those experiences!
The goal of dance training is not just to train future dancers. Dancing prepares us for living fully in one’s body for a lifetime.
