April Dalton brings over 20 years of experience in operations, learning and development and project management to Ballet Lubbock. Throughout her career, she has partnered with top brands—including Marriott, Hilton, and IHG—to lead large-scale training initiatives, launch new properties, and strengthen team performance across multi-site portfolios.
Known for her hands-on leadership style and people-first approach, April excels at building structure, clarity, and connection within organizations. She’s passionate about creating learning experiences that empower employees, improve engagement, and drive measurable business results. April has won numerous industry awards to include Marriott’s Gold Circle award, Interstate Gives Back and Hilton’s Award of Excellence.
April is a new Lubbockite, having made her way here as her only son began his college journey at Texas Tech University. When she’s not leading projects or optimizing operations, April enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering and finding creative ways to be artistic in mixed media art.
